Benjamin de Cava Brut Reserva Segura Viudas 20 Cl. Denomination of Origin Catalunya (Sant Sadurní D'Anoia). Grape varieties : Macabeo, Xarel·lo and Parellada.

Mastery of the Macabeo grape that gives it a balanced acidity and fruity character. She is responsible for the finesse and elegance we look for in our creations. The blend comes from 10 different wines, of which four, once the fermentation is finished, follow an aging process with their lees in deposit for 3 months. Minimum of 15 months of aging in bottle, in conditions of total darkness and rest, 20 meters below the ground, and at a constant and natural temperature between 14 and 16ºC.
Fruit, freshness and complexity are the three main virtues that define the Brut Reserva de Segura Viudas. The fruit and freshness come from the careful care with which we treat the grapes, as it is collected 100% by hand and transported in boxes of 25 kilos to prevent the grain from breaking and that the must can suffer oxidation, with the consequent loss of freshness. The complexity comes from a special elaboration consisting of the autolysis of the yeasts with the base wine for 3 months before being bottled, and a second autolysis of the yeasts for a minimum of aging of 15 months inside the bottle.
The grapes with which Brut Reserva is made come from a great diversity of vineyards in the region. In this way you can take advantage of the peculiarity of each area to achieve a complex and harmonious cava. Pressing of the whole grape to maintain the identity of the product and avoid oxidation. First and second fermentation carried out with our own selected yeasts. These yeasts provide structure, softness in the mouth, more complex aromas (honey, nuts, flowers) and an elegant and persistent bubble.
