The aging is a classic that maintains a great regularity year after year, aged in American oak barrels for 14 months and followed by another 8 months in the bottle before going on the market. Ideal to accompany dishes of sausages, soft cheeses, a wide variety of meats and even blue fish. Serve between 16-18°C.

Description and Origin

Ramón Bilbao Crianza is a classic wine from La Rioja produced by Bodegas Ramón Bilbao, a winery that has more than a century of history. It was founded in 1924 by Don Ramón Bilbao Murga, although since 1896, Don Ramón ran a small winery in Haro from which he sold his first wines.

Tasting notes

On the nose it shows a combination of ripe wild fruits with balsamic notes, slight hints of vanilla, pepper and bay leaf. I pass through fresh mouth, highlighting again the notes of ripe fruits. Very nice and spicy long finish. A classic where the fruit is combined with the aromas of wood in harmony. Easy to drink and very nice
