History and Elaboration
GlenAllachie Distillers Company, returned its splendor to the old distillery founded in 1970. Master distiller, Billy Walker, has worked tirelessly on this expression since day one; evaluating barrels and refining the recipe to create something special. The 15-year-old GlenAllachie is 46-year-old bottled, cold-filtered, and natural-colored.
Tasting notes
A miniature 15-year-old Glenallachie single malt, matured in a combination of Pedro Ximenez and oloroso sherry barrels, creating a soft and rich character. Aromas of raisins, caramel and sweet spices fill the nose, and in the mouth it offers notes of dark chocolate, orange peel, banana, raisins and caramel.
