Tomatin Reserva 14 años is a smooth and sweet whisky thanks to its aging in Tawny Port barrels, which have contained port inside for 50 years. With a rich and balanced aroma of red berries, honey, toffee that evolves on the palate to fruit and nuts, with a fruit salad finish.

HISTORY

TOMATIN Distillery is home to the most exclusive Highland malt whiskies, it is located in the Monadhliath Mountains just south of Inverness, capital of Scotland's Highlands. Founded in 1897, TOMATIN is also one of Scotland's largest distilleries, at 315 metres above sea level.

The fine waters of Alt-na-Frith (free combustion), are clear and pure and run through the mountains of Monadhliath and help create a Highland malt whisky with delicate flavors, and with a rich and smooth style.

A proud testimony to the art of distillation.

TOMATIN is a community as well as a distillery. It is one of the last distilleries to provide housing for its staff, and around 25 families live on the 140-hectare estate. These families form the core of the workforce and, in several cases, entire families are employed in various roles within the Company. As you can imagine, they can feel very isolated, as they live 315 meters above sea level in the Monadhliath Mountain Range. This sense of isolation for years has contributed to the character of TOMATIN, helping to create a strong sense in the family, loyalty, friendship and trust are the values of this unique community.

The distillery has a long and distinguished history in whisky production dating back 110 years. Its workers have a tradition in the work of distillation that prints seriousness in the product, as shown, many of the workers are fifth generation. And as a team they take pride in their community and their malt. They pride themselves on distillation traditions. And this pride, along with the passion evoked both in heritage and for products, has become an almost tangible spirit of ownership. The local people behind this malt provide pedigree to the highlands.
