WHISKY MACALLAN AMBER

Amber MACALLAN Whisky belongs to the range of whiskies MACALLAN 1824, which is characterized by removing the minimum age of the whisky from the label. Instead of age, the range offers sensations that correspond to the colors of each bottle. The MACALLAN is famous for using unusually small copper stills to provide the whisky with maximum contact with copper, which helps in the concentration of the newly created distillate. These stills are so famous that they even appear on the 10-pound notes of the Bank of Scotland. The main ingredient of all the distillates MACALLAN are spanish oak barrels cured in sherry and American oak barrels cured with bourbon, which provide 60% of the flavor and aromas to the whiskey. This also allows all colors to be natural, and no product MACALLAN contains artificial colors. Only the interaction of the newly created distillate with the oak of the aging barrels brings the wide range of natural colors of all whiskies, from light oak to darker mahogany.

Amber MACALLAN Whisky is one of the five whiskies that make up the range baptized as The MACALLAN 1824 Series. This whisky is the second in intensity and gets its name from the powerful amber color it presents.

WHISKY TASTING NOTES MACALLAN AMBER:

View: Bright amber color.

Nose: It is presented with floral aromas, citrus tones at first, and then give rise to a chorus of notes of vanilla and freshly harvested grains. In the background are the raisins, cinnamon and apples with caramel.

Palate: Fresh green apples and lemons are noticeable that melt with cinnamon. Memories of ginger notes on the predominant fruit notes, with a subtle and persistent touch of oak on the sides.
